MY WORLD - a little bit more about me

Well, in this post I want to explain a little bit more about me, like I say in the title.
My name is Rosó, I am 15 years old and I study at the INS Castelló d'Empúries. I haven't got any hobbies, but I could say that my hobbies are listening to music, staying with my friends and, doing homework? I don't thing that the last one was a hobby, but it is a thing that I spend most of the time of my evenings during the week.
I LOVE Christmas!! It is, for me, the best period of the year, because in this holidays you can spend a lovely time with your family, with your friends, and you have no-stress for exams or homework!! The same happens during the summer, and I really like it too, but I thing Christmas are special.

We all know that nobody's perfect, and I have a lot of imperfections, like I'm so short, I don't like my body... but this isn't important, because my people love me for how I am, not for how I look, and if I don't love me..who is going to do it?

Another thing that I could explain was that, when I'm older, I want to travel to Sud-Africa, or some place with the same problems to help poor people with an ONG, because if I do this, I think that inside of me, and with other people I could feel better. If I want people to help me when I need it, why can't I help people when THEY need it?

MY FAVOURITE HORROR FILM

I have seen a few horror films in my life. I haven't got a favourite one, but the one that scared me the most was The grudge (El Grito), the second film. I saw it in Andrea's birthday, with some friends, and we were all so scared. This film is full of frights and mystery, and it changes the shot of the camera a lot of times to scare more. The Grudge talks about a curse that was born when someone died under the influence of an extreme feeling of ire or shame. The ones that found this supernatural force that kills, die and the curse appears again.
Actually, I don't like this film, but, as I said before, it is the one that frightened me the most, so I wanted to explain it. I don't know which kind of film it is, but I think it could be a psychologycal one. I haven't got a favourite scene, because I saw it one or two years ago, so I don't remember it very well.
I haven't found any video with the scenes of the film, but I found a photo of the first fright.

COMIC RELIEF

The comic relief is the inclusion of a humurous character, scene or dialogue in a serious scene, to relieve tension. It is used in the horror films to give a relief to the spectator. I laugh in some horror films, but I don't like it, some people laugh a lot when the comic relief appears.

SUSPENSE

The movie called Psycho was directed by Hitchcock, he often used psychopaths in his films, like thin line between sanity and insanity, serial killers, and other murderers. When he recorded his films, he did it from the point of view of the killer.

"THE TELL-TALE HEART"

"The Tell-Tale Heart" is a short story, written by Edgar Allan Poe, that tells the obsession of a madman with the white eye of an old man. The mad wanted to eliminate the eye, and he killed the old man. He hid the body and when the police went to the house, he said that the old man was on holliday. Finally, the mad told the police that he killed the old man.
Edgar Allan Poe was the inventor of the Psychological Horror Story, his first macabre story was Metzengerstein, published in 1832. He also invented the detective stories and the science fiction.

IS YOUR DREAM TO BE HAPPY?

There are a lot of things that make me happy, like listening to music, meeting my friends, watching films in the cinema, go to parities… When I’m feeling happy I always smile, of course, and I tell to my friends and family that I’m happy.

It makes me feel sad watching the news, because there are always some bad news, another thing that makes me bad are the sad or romantic films, because I always cry, see old people alone in the street… When I’m sad I try to feel happy, staying with my friends, laughing, and sometimes I get happy.

Since I started the high school, I feel stressed most of the days because, if I haven’t got homework, it’s sure that I have an exam. I haven’t got days, until Monday to Friday, to relax and stay in the sofa, watching the TV, in the computer… I hate it! To fight the stress I sit down in the sofa for half an hour after having lunch and I watch the TV and talk to my parents.

MY WORLD - things that scared me

Since I was aproximatelly five years old, I always watched on the TV the series Conan, and I wasn't scared of the series, but I was scared of the shadows because they always appear behind the doors. I couldn't sleep because I imagine the shadows under my desk or behind my doors.
Another thing that scared me a lot were the horror films. I really like to watch horror films but I feel very scared. I can't watch horror films in my house alone, I need my friends near me to feel protect.
I am also scared of walking alone in the dark, alone or with company, because I think that it can appear somebody to frighten me, not on purpose, but I get scared easier than nobody else.
